Merriwa Central School’s existing timber walkway had reached the end of its lifespan. The old structure were deteriorated beyond viable repair, creating ongoing safety and maintenance issues. They also posed hygiene challenges due to bird nesting, they lacked gutters and downpipes for proper drainage and failed to meet accessibility standards. The school required a durable, compliant and visually cohesive solution that could be delivered quickly, within the school holiday period and with minimal disruption to students and staff once term resumed.
