Following significant changes to the school layout, Maitland Grossmann High School required improved accessibility, connectivity and weather protection across the campus. The addition of numerous demountable classrooms created new student movement pathways and increased demand for safe, all-weather access between learning spaces. The completed project has transformed the way students and staff move through and use the campus. The new covered walkways provide reliable all-weather connectivity across the school, while improved accessibility features create safer and more inclusive pathways for students, staff and visitors. The amphitheatre and grandstand have introduced valuable outdoor learning, assembly and recreation spaces, enhancing how the school community gathers and interacts. Despite the complexity of a large multi-stage project, the works were successfully delivered on time and within budget with minimal disruption to school operations. The result is a safer, more connected and future-ready campus that supports the school’s evolving needs while providing long-term value, functionality and peace of mind for the entire community.
